WaterlooRPG

Waterloo, ON, CA

We're the Waterloo Role Playing Game Association (RPGA), part of UWaterloo's Science Fiction/Fantasy Club. We play Dungeons and Dragons and other games on the University of Waterloo campus every Friday at 7pm but please get there a little earler so the DM can set his/her table to fit the number of players. (QNC 1507 for WATSFIC RPGA on Fridays, 6:30pm-midnight) New players are always welcome and we'll probably have pre-made characters if you need them, but if you're thinking of attending regularly please register through this website to reserve a seat. We post which adventures we're running each month ahead of time (the Gaming Schedule) to know how many tables we'll be playing and to make sure we have enough DMs to run the games.

We have a low-level D&D 4th edition game every week from Wizard of the Coast's modular Living Forgotten Realms (LFR) adventures, as well as a number of other games week by week. There is usually a Pathfinder game every now and then, plus other gaming systems, and people often run higher level adventures or try out different systems. If you want to run a LFR game, or want to try a different edition or game system, or even start up an ongoing campaign (we're working on being able to book rooms for other days/times), let us know and we can put your game on the schedule. For the LFR and Pathfinder games, we give DMs the base experience and gold for any of their characters that they would get for playing, so don't be afraid to try DMing and please step up and DM it is fun; you won't fall behind!

A 4E Character Generator" is available for download.

We try to start playing at 7pm, so please show respect for your fellow players by arriving a bit beforehand. It gives people time to settle in and socialize a little before getting the game started. If you're interested in announcements and organizational messages about this event, we recommend you join the Living Forgotten Realms at UWaterloo Yahoo Group.
We hope to see you there!
