You live in the shadows. Maybe you were a spy, before you got burned or turned or just plain burnt out. A criminal, perhaps. A mercenary. Or maybe you once tried to bring secrets into the light... You might have been a journalist once, or a researcher who delved a little too deep. You know too much to go back into the daylight. You know about the vampires. You know there are inhuman monsters pulling humanity's strings from the darkness. You know they feed on the innocent. You know they're monsters, and they have to be stopped. So, with a few others like you, that you can trust, you mount on your own shadow war against the undead.

-This is a thriller RPG game of spies versus vampires. Think the Jason Bourne series if Treadstone was run by vampires. This adventure will give you a quick taste of the GUMSHOE system that powers the game, and the sort of high-explosive action, cinematic coolness and creeping paranoia you can expect from a campaign.

The Iroran monastery of Tar Kuata nestled in Osirion’s Barrier Wall Mountains is famous both for its extensive history and its curious order of dwarven monks known as the Ouat. When the Society uncovers a dusty field report that identifies Tar Kuata as the home of a strange, otherworldly relic, Pathfinders set off to recover it. However the Ouat are strict judges of perfection, and the PCs must prove their worth if they are to win the monks’ trust and treasure.

Content in “Test of Tar Kuata” contributes directly to the Year of the Sky Key metaplot as well as the ongoing storyline of the Scarab Sages faction.

You're Not In Kansas Anymore....

A new Wizard is enthroned in the Emerald City but his intentions are purely wicked. Heartless Tin-Men soldiers police the lands while sinister Straw-Men assassins instill fear in those who oppose his will.

Battle for Oz uses the original canon of its creator L. Frank Baum, but with a new modern spin and just a touch of fantasy horror. Players can take on the role of a Lion-Man, an outcast Winged Monkey, a Clockwork, a Patchwork, an ancient Oz native, or just an outsider from the "normal" world following in the footsteps of Dorothy Gale, all banding together to fight to free the lands of Oz.

War. War never changes.

It's because people never change, I reckon. They're greedy, cruel and hateful as ever.
The Great War that ended the world in atomic fire didn't change that. People still fight, over power, resources, technology, lines in the sand.

People never change but a man can have enough of war, of killing for a flag. Maybe that man moves on, tries to find himself some peace. And maybe war follows him.

The characters are holed up in the town of Longshot, on the edge of the New California Republic, smack dab in the way of the advancing Caesar's Legion. As restitution for crimes committed, the mayor of Longshot needs their help defending the town against the Legion.

The odds are against them, but hey... at least the pay is terrible!

If they are really lucky, they may survive long enough to bring back a tasty treat to the Kobold Caves and avoid becoming lunch themselves.
