MidAmeriCon II, the 74th World Science Fiction Convention (“Worldcon”), will be held in Kansas City,

MO, August 17 – 21, at the Kansas City Convention Center. The convention has 5000 square feet of gaming, packed with roleplaying, board, and card games, and a 24-hour gaming space. Plus- Featured demos from Asmodee, a games library provided by Gamer's Haven,  an Artemis Bridge Simulator , demonstrations from the Heart of America Historical Miniature Gaming Society and much more!

To sign up for gaming events at MidAmeriCon II, you must be a registered attendee. Event sign ups will also be available in person leading up to the time of the events. You can sign up for memberships and check out everything planned for the weekend at http://midamericon2.org/.

About MidAmeriCon II

MidAmeriCon II will be held in Kansas City, MO, August 17 – 21, at the Kansas City Convention Center, with the Kansas City Marriott Downtown serving as our headquarters hotel.

The Worldcon is the annual convention of the World Science Fiction Society (WSFS). Worldcons have been held each year since 1939 with the exception of four years during World War II.  Each year, a different fan group sponsors the convention, and locations have included the United States, Canada, Australia, England, Scotland, Germany, Japan, and The Netherlands. Science fiction and fantasy fans travel from all over the world to attend, including Japan, Israel, Argentina, Brazil, Norway, Finland, Croatia, New Zealand, and Russia (55 countries last year!).
