Babylon, Harappa and Mohenjodaro, Atlantis... these ancient cities and others exist in a parallel universe that doesn't fully exist yet... without your help. Experiment with this unique and oft unappreciated system of Microscope, in which you will get to play multiple characters on multiple quests to define and develop the history (and future!) of this alternate universe in real-time while roleplaying. The GM will never say no, instead using the "yes, and-" method so that no matter what ideas you have, there is always room for them. The stronger the idea, the more popular it is within the group of players, the deeper we will dive into the details and the longer we will spend roleplaying in that setting and time period. When we're finished, the universe's timeline will be a beautiful collaboration you'll want to think and talk about for days, and you'll be allowed to transfer all of your characters and their origin stories to Saturday and/or Sunday's game

Mood/Genre: Fantasypunk/Sci-Fantasy - JRPG Pastiche/ParodyIn the dingiest, dirtiest part of Anarxos-occupied Revalia City, there is a crusty, ill-maintained old bar called the Crimson Boar. The proprietor--if you can even call him such--is a burly, bearded bear of a man who seems more intent on glowering and grimacing than he does on pouring drinks. Nonetheless, a small crowd of regulars stop by each afternoon to swap stories from the war and drink cheap ale to help them forget. They say that the Anarxos Empire crushed the life out of the Revalians when they invaded a decade ago, and the lack of any rebellions in nearly as long would seem to say that they might be right. But there on those dusty, dirty streets, simmering resentment boils just beneath the surface, stirring the air like an ill-intentioned whisper. They hate to be ruled, and the Anarxian guards marching through those streets feel that hate burning into their backs everywhere they go.So when a beautiful, mysterious girl fell from the sky right through the roof of the Crimson Boar there in Revalia City's poorest quarter, crying about those damnable Anarxian monsters hunting her, is it any surprise at all that the Crimson Boar Regulars would take up her cause?

The Federation is eager to understand the effect the Prophets and the wormhole now more than ever but local politics have made that difficult. Deep Space 9 has become increasingly unstable, primarily due to the influence of the True Way - a separatist movement of Cardassian insurgents, who want a return to the old methods of conquest and ruling through fear. They oppose the social reforms put in place by the Cardassian Detapa Council, and they want all Federation personnel and assets removed from Cardassian space. The Federation has made a commitment to the Cardassian people to help them on the road to freedom and democracy. It's been an interesting 3 months.
