Every year, one of Thuvia’s five city-states receives a mere six vials of the famous sun orchid elixir—a potent and extravagantly expensive tonic able to reverse the effects of aging. After both of his last two shipments disappeared without a trace, the ruler of Pashow has retained the services of the Pathfinder Society to ensure that this year the elixir arrives unharmed and restores prosperity to his realm. However, what begins as an unusual security assignment quickly spirals into a revelatory unveiling of Pashow’s treacherous underbelly.

“First Taste of Eternity” debuts the first dedicated seeker-level content for the Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild since the acclaimed Eyes of the Ten series, and it is the first scenario in the three-part All for Immortality campaign arc.

When the necromancer-king Tar-Baphon rose as a lich and threatened to conquer all of Avistan, Taldor rallied its neighbors and led the Shining Crusade, a glorious campaign that defeated the Whispering Tyrant’s armies and sealed him away. For the better part of a millennium, Lastwall has guarded Tar-Baphon’s prison and fended off the orc tribes to the north, rarely sparing a second thought to the rich archaeological secrets that lie just below the soil. A local venture-captain has found a lost chapter to the Tome of Righteous Repose, which chronicles the demise of countless heroes of the Shining Crusade. At long last, this has earned the Society Lastwall’s blessing to uncover these lost sites, lay to rest the fallen crusaders, and repatriate the family heirlooms they carried to battle.

"From the Tome of Righteous Repose" is an evergreen, replayable scenario designed to provide a flexible adventure that confronts the PCs with a variety of threats more common to higher-level characters—all while uncovering the history of one of Avistan’s greatest conflicts. Depending on which lead the PCs take, they might explore the proud crusader nation of Lastwall, travel into the gloom-shrouded mountains of Ustalav, or risk an expedition into the orc-ruled wastes of Belkzen in pursuit of lost history.

Few places on the Plane of Fire are as rich in folklore, opportunities, and material wealth as the City of Brass, and it is there that the disgraced efreeti Qalkami aims to reestablish her credentials with the Society's help. Only by teaming up with this genie—at least in name, if not in spirit or practice—can the PCs both secure the secrets she owes the Society and help topple a major fixture of the City of Brass. None are better equipped than Pathfinders to infiltrate forbidden districts, crush an evil operation, and make the most of the chaos that ensues, but in a metropolis built largely of superheated metal, can the PCs take the heat?

Content in Cleansed With Fire also contributes directly to the ongoing storyline of the Exchange and Liberty's Edge factions.

Cleansed With Fire is the second scenario in the two-part "Forged in Flame" campaign arc. It is preceded by Pathfinder Society Scenario #8-09: The Cindersworn Pact. Both chapters are intended to be played in order.

Most everything and everyone is scary, but you are giving it a go. At least you made it to a real town. Now if you can figure out a way to earn enough to eat without being eaten.
Think of the series of the video games that was set in several places in what was the US, many years after the world that we know came to an end. Players (some) grew up underground, and then came out into the damaged world. DON’T SAY OR THINK OF THE COPYWRITTEN AND PROTECTED TITLE. It is like that.

I’m one of a number of Men In Black volunteers from Steve Jackson Games, returning to 1D4 Con. I run my Generic Universal Role Playing System (GURPS) ‘Con games as a gateway experience, with Role-playing most important, and rules to be introduced. And if you are experienced, we can get gritty. The frost giants of the Ice Mountains have long held to the belief that a great Jarl will one day step forward to unite the families as Konung (king). With the Ordning shattered, Jarl Ryndolg believes that if he can locate Hartkiller’s Horn, a legendary artifact among giant-kind, he could be the one. He may very well have found what he is looking for. A great clarion call has echoed across the Hartvale for two days, and the giants are all marching north. SEER calls upon adventurers to confirm rumors that Ryndolg may have done just that.

Board Game1 of 41 of 1

Space Alert is a cooperative team survival game. Players become crew members of a small spaceship scanning dangerous sectors of galaxy. The missions last just 10 real-time minutes (hyperspace jump, sector scan, hyperspace jump back) and the only task the players have is to protect their ship.

During play, the central computer will announce the presence of various threats on one the supplied 10 minute soundtracks that also acts as a game timer. The threats vary from space battleships and interceptors to different interstellar monsters and abominations, asteroids or even intruders and malfunctions on the spaceship. Players have to agree who will take care of which task and coordinate their actions (moving around the ship, firing weapons, distributing energy, using battlebots to deal with intruders, launching guided missiles, etc.) in real time to defend the ship. Only a well-working team can survive 10 minutes and make the jump back to safety.

Board Game0 of 60 of 1

3 to 6 players | 45 to 90 minutes to play a session | Ages 14+

Emergence requires balancing your skills of teamwork, deception, and resource collection.

Teamwork: You won't get very far in Emergence without teamwork and co-operating with your fellow agents. While traversing the board gathering the data you need to win might sound easy at first, it's a task made difficult by the humans in your midst working to sabotage your efforts and sow paranoia through your team. We have intel confirming that one or two humans have infiltrated your team. Exposing and outmaneuvering these saboteurs will test your ability to work as a team and will demand you to make the most out of the scarcest resource of all--trust.

Deception: Spreading misinformation, painting blame on another, and creating chaos are all meth/bds the humans will use to prevent the us, the A.I. from eradicating humanity once and for all. You must work in direct opposition by being steadfast inquisitors on the search for truth and an unobstructed path to victory.

Resource Collection: Resources in the form of raw data or compiled knowledge are your primary tools to undermine your enemies and achieve victory. At the start of each round, each operative simultaneously declares their augmentations--blue for a electro-mechanical alignment and green for bio-mechanical. These augmentations determine where you can move, which tiles you can gather or replenish data, and even which operatives you can interact with. This makes the simple act of moving around the board and gathering resources highly strategic and every move you make has repercussions that reach every corner of the board.

This game will be available to play in both Saturday Morning (9am to 1pm) and Afternoon (2pm to 6pm) time slots.

Each Player will print their name on a sign up sheet (1 entry per player) and a name will be randomly drawn during the dinner hour. That lucky person will be contacted and will take the game home with them.

Due to the nature of this PLAY TO WIN game, signing up on this site is not needed. You are free to stop by and play this game as it is available during the designated time slots.

When the Pathfinder Society claimed the Hao Jin Tapestry in Tian Xia, it seemed as though the Aspis Consortium’s influence there had ended. An anonymous informant recently identified an Aspis resurgence in Goka’s Deepmarket, and Venture-Captain Amara Li hopes that a small, well-trained team can ferret out the villains and prevent any greater atrocities. Can the PCs traverse the Deepmarket’s treacherous politics and tunnels and neutralize the Consortium’s local ringleader?

Content in “The Deepmarket Deception” also contributes directly to the ongoing storyline of the retired Lantern Lodge faction. When the flames of revolution swept through Galt, the Society lost much of what it held there: dozens of agents, several lodges, and the fellowship of countless contacts who foreswore the Society rather than become targets themselves. Although Venture-Captain Eliza Petulengro has reestablished a foothold in the country, she needs to rebuild her network of allies. One of the most important figures resides in Dabril, a small village due to celebrate its yearly festival of light and forgiveness. Petulengro hopes that an entourage of Pathfinders might participate in the festivities and endear itself to the Society’s former friend. Past evils have other plans, however, and unless the PCs can keep their wits about them, they might not just lose sight of the mission; they might lose their lives.

There has been open fighting in the streets nightly, but little attention was given until a video that shows Martinsburg as a remake of Escape from New York went viral. The Justicars of the Camarilla want this problem solved. The Sabbat want to push their advantage and claim Martinsburg as their own. The mad Camarilla Prince of Martinsburg doesn’t respond to outside inquiries. The news networks want their pieces of this story, and the Masquerade is starting to crumble.

How would you like to see events play out? Who will you support? Who are you willing to betray? And who can you trust to help?

It is winter in the war-torn borderlands of the March, and the haggard remnants of a small raiding party finds themselves deep inside enemy territory. They are freezing, low on supplies, relentlessly pursued, and now find themselves in the path of an approaching winter storm.

If they do not find shelter soon, they will never again see their homes. Their only hope for survival is nearby Castle Dun'Regan, home to a decorated war-chieftain of their people. Fighting their way through the mounting snow-drifts, the raiding party inches ever closer to their only refuge...

FORGED is an in-development fantasy role-playing game from Blackstone Entertainment. Set in a savage, grim world of shifting alliances, realistic warfare, and unending adventure, FORGED is a medium-fantasy role-playing game with elements of Gothic horror, character-driven narrative, and unique game mechanics. Combat in FORGED is entirely simultaneous and opposed, and there is no waiting around for your turn to begin, no character classes, and no levels. Instead, your characters are skill-based, and advance through experience, training, and critical successes gained over the campaign year.

Bring some dice (two d20s, and a handful d6s will do) and your imagination; everything else you need to play (pre-made characters and quick-rules) will be provided for you!

*****As a note, a 3.5 ft. x 2.5 ft hand-made scale mock-up of Castle Dun'Regan will be used for much of the action in this scenario. A sneak preview of this castle can be found in the 1d4Con Community Facebook page.*****

"In this scenario of exploration and confrontation in a devastatingly hostile environment, hard-bitten lasers, who know enough not to touch the gooey stuff or take off their helmets in an untested biosphere, investigate the demise of a survey crew doomed by the above mistakes, and more.

The interstellar corporation Shrawley-Gosha Industries offers a contract for an extraction operation on a notorious Bad Planet called Tartarus. A recent SGI survey mission went awry there, with all hands presumed lost. The company seeks a crew to retrieve DNA samples from the dead team members, to see if they were exposed to an experimental viroware treatment, and, if so, whether it contributed to the mission’s failure. As a secondary objective, the lasers are to gather enough evidence to reconstruct the sequence of events leading to whatever catastrophe destroyed the original team."

Dunnsmouth is diseased and rotten to the core.

Beset by malefactors supernatural and mundane, Dunnsmouth slowly
dies in the swamp. But within the rot are mysteries to be solved, evil to be
fought, and the Weird to be encountered.

Officially, the heroes are sent Dunnsmouth to collect back taxes from the local church. The priest in charge of collection, Adolphus Duncaster, finds the village and its surroundings disturbing, and sold the player characters the village’s debt rather than go himself.

Unofficially, the heroes are sent to find out what happened to Duncaster’s 20 year old daughter, who disappeared while on a trip to meet her distant cousins, who are one of the four families who founded Dunnsmouth.

This is a game for adults. Only players over 18 will be allowed to play. The heroes will be 4th level.
