Owlcon is an annual gaming convention dedicated to gaming that features board and card games, miniatures (historical, fantasy, and sci-fi), role-playing games (tabletop and live action), and related events (e.g., painting competition, movies). It is hosted by Fast Warp, a student run organization at Rice University, and is now the largest gaming convention in the Houston area.
Preregistration closed on February 12. Feel free to register here to check out the games, but you will not be able to sign up. You can pay at the con in Rice University's RMC/Ley Student Center. The Central Campus Garage is next to the RMC.
This year, we will be trying something a little ambitious. We will be offering a collection of related MYRE mods. While the results or information contained within these scenarios will NOT be canon, we hope that it will provide you with a unique Owlcon gaming experience.
LFR RPGA games will be held in the (Sid) Richardson College cafeteria. We will muster at the Sid Rich cafeteria. It is about an 8 minute walk south from the RMC. Please be sure to check the campus map below. Sandwiches will be brought from 13th Street Deli for sale in the cafeteria on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. |
