OpieCon I, Hosted by Organized Play
Downtown Knoxville's Gaming and Comics Source!

Welcome to Organized Play's planning site for OpieCon I! After a highly successful Year's End mini-convention for Living Forgotten Realms, we've decided to do it again, partnered with the Tennessee Valley Gamers' Association - but this time, with Pathfinder Society, Star Wars: Saga Edition, and Witch Hunter: Dark Providence! The idea for OpieCon is to give some excellent non-D&D campaigns exposure in the Knoxville area. Most of the games are still being worked on, so check back in a couple of days if you don't see the games listed yet. Best of all, OpieCon, just like all our other mini-cons so far, is absolutely free. Remember - all scheduled events and players, in the case of a shortage of playing space, will be given priority.

Something to bear in mind when deciding if you want to come:Players will be seated for the events in the following order of priority: Players who are registered on Warhorn and show up on time are seated first, players not registered but who show up on time are seated next, and regardless of registration, late players are seated if space is available. Be on time!

We're committed to making the gaming area a safe, welcoming, and fun space ' for players from all walks of life ' that's fair to both us and you. So, we have some codes we expect you to follow:

Abusive language, such as rape, or calling someone a faggot, or a retard, will not be tolerated.

Bringing in full meals to eat is fine. But snack sales such as soda, candy and chips help keep our tables free dont bring those.

Cheating in any form or fashion is unacceptable, and if its in sanctioned tournament play, it will be reported to the sanctioning agency.

Theres a perfectly good bar across the street for political or religious conversations.

Speaking of bars, we arent one (yet).

Weve got plenty of trash and recycling bins, so clean up after yourself.

Respect everyones property, not just mine.

Dont use tobacco products, including smokeless tobacco, inside the store outside the door is fine.

Drug use inside the store or in the vicinity of the store will be reported to the police.

Winnings fun. But make losing fun too.
