GambitCon5: At The Con Of The Lighthouse
From Thursday, September 9th through Sunday, September 12th, the Gamer's Gambit will be hosting GambitCon 5: At The Con Of The Lighthouse, a three-day event hosting many, many tables of RPGA goodness...and much more!
Scheduling Note: A lot of tables may seem like they have no judges. We will be assigning and shifting judges around as tables fill up.
Special and New Events!
This time we have some really special new things we're hosting, in addition to the Battle Interactive and mods that appeared at GenCon:
- D&D Championship: Compete in the D&D Championship as run at GenCon 2010! Players take 5 25th level characters and compete to meet Orcus in the final round! Qualifying rounds every slot on Friday and Saturday, with the finals on Saturday evening. Prizes: $100 gift certificate for 1st place, $50 for 2nd place and $25 for 3rd place (split amongst the team members), as well as certificates. 5-person tables; minimum 3 tables for prizes to be awarded.
- Ravenloft Classic: Run by Rydia Vielehr, the Ravenloft Classic brings a 4E spin to the old favorite campaign setting. It's fun and got really good reviews at GenCon!
- Pathfinder Society: We're starting to run some Pathfinder at the store, and this weekend will be one of the debuts. Come learn how to play!
- Indy Games: On Sunday, we're offering some introductory games to those who want to try a little different. Join our local Indy games experts for a sampler of different offerings of games that are off-the-beaten path.
- Midnight Cthulhu! At midnight on Saturday, check out our Midnight Cthulhu game with SPOOOOKY DM and lots of fun madness at midnight!
- ...and of course, a lot of RPGA tables!

Events
The primary goal of GambitCon is to allow players to play the mods they can't play elsewhere. We'll be having a focus on MINIs, SPECs, longer Paragon adventures, ADAPs, and Battle Interactives. We will have a track of MyRealms adventures. Sunday will feature two 6-hour slots (Saturday will also be devoted to the battle interactive modules and the D&D Championship finals). There are other two-slot mods available throughout the Con weekend as well. Check out the schedule for nore details! |
