Craggnarok is Buffalo State Colleges one day convention focusing on Gaming and Anime. Hosted by CRAGG & IPA as well as supported by the Buffalo Gamers Society.
Every year this small day of gaming goodness gives a little back to the community in some way. In the past it's generated can food for the food bank of Western New York, donated funds to Roswell for Cancer research & to the local branch of Child's Play. This year we will be supporting Buffalo's Womens and Children's Hospital. These funds will be generated through any donations you may want to put in the can at our registration check in desk, any buy-in tournaments and our charity raffle where many of our gamers have donated and crafted geek items for the betterment of geeks and sick children around our gaming community.
How to Register
Step 1 - Click on the Register to attend link at the top of the page.
Step 2 - Fill out the areas, you can ignore the notes section, and click the register button at the bottom. You should jump back to the event overview page and have a message that says success in green lettering.
Gaming Personalities
Gaming internet personalities Garret Crowe, Chris Sniezak, and Mark Knapik will be in attendance.
Garret produces, directs and GM's Threat Detected, the only Actual Play podcast playing through the Dawn of Defiance campaign and the only source for Star Wars Saga stuff on the net. You can find the show at Threat-Detected.com Garret will be running a game of Star Wars: Edge of the Empire (The Rakata Riddle) and Paranoia (Judgment Day Can Dance).
Chris and Mark are the hosts of The Misdirected Mark Podcast. A podcast about Gaming, Game Mastering, and Whatever else they feel like talking about. Chris and Mark will be putting on a panel and recording it for the podcast about GMing from noon till 1 along with some special guests and will be fielding questions from anyone who wishes to ask them.
Phil Vecchione, Writer for Ennie award winning Engine Publishing and The Gnome Stew along with being CRAGG's adviser, will also be in attendance and running a game for folks. His first solo project, Never Unprepared: A GM's guide to session prep, has been selling like hot cakes so I would suggest any GM picking his brain if you get the chance.
Justin Lewis our local Steve Jackson Games Representative will also be there running Demos throughout the day.
